यह एक "Over Allotment Option" है ! यह एक ऐसा Option है जो IPO (Initial Public Offer)के Underwriters को additional share sell करने की आज्ञा देता है यदि Demand High हो यह Green Shoe Option मूल रूप से प्रस्तावित शेयरों की संख्या के 15% तक हो सकता है ! कुछ स्थितियों में Green Shoe Option 15% से ज्यादा भी हो सकता है !
Example:- If a company decides to publicly sell 1 lakh shares. the underwriters can exercise there Green Shoe Option and sell 1.15 lakh shares.
